Bell Releases The Galaxy S II HD LTE

A couple weeks ago we posted about Bell preparing to release the Galaxy S II HD LTE. If you missed that article, you can find a link to it below.

Bell to release the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE.

I’ve very happy to tell you that day has finally come.

The Galaxy S II HD LTE actually features about the same hardware has its older brother the Galaxy S II also from Bell, but with a couple of minor upgrades.

  • 4.65″ Super AMOLED screen (~316 ppi pixel density) with Corning Gorilla Glass
  • 1GB Ram
  • 16GB internal storage (Expandable MicroSD up to 32GB)
  • 8MP camera
  • 2MP Front camer
  • 1.5Ghz dual core Scorpion processor
  • 1850 mAh battery

The most notable upgrade is the addition of LTE as well as the screen size from 4.2″ now to 4.65″ with a resolution upgrade. The original Galaxy S II in todays times has poor resolution compared to todays competitors, but the Galaxy S II HD LTE pops the GS2 Series right back on top once again.

With a very reasonable price tag of $549.95 or $99.95 on a 3-year contract, this may make waiting for the Galaxy S III just a little bit harder for some.
