Back in January a rumour emerged claiming that Samsung was going to really pare down their software with the next Galaxy, the Galaxy S6. Well that rumour just got a huge boost in credibility as an alleged list of pre-loaded apps for the S6 has surfaced.
The list comes from the very reputable site SamMobile so it definitely holds some weight. Here’s the list of apps that they have posted:
1. S Voice
2. S Health
3. Facebook
4. WhatsApp (download link)
5. Microsoft One Drive
6. Microsoft One Note
7. Skype
8. All Google apps
9. GALAXY APPS
As you can see, there are only two pre-installed Samsung apps, S Voice and S Health. All other Samsung apps will be downloadable through the Galaxy Apps store. A couple of Microsoft apps will also come pre-installed, allegedly as a a result of some deal Microsoft and Samsung had struck. Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype will also come pre-installed but I imagine that these will be removable.
SamMobile also stated that the overall look of TouchWiz will remain relatively unchanged and will be very similar to the Touchwiz based on Lollipop found on the Note 4. Nevertheless, the lack of bloatware will make the software faster and more stable.
