What you’re looking forward to in ICS [POLL RESULTS]

So, Tom, really has us all turning into green jelly… [jealous that is] with his GNexus that’ll be his real soon.  Look for a posting/review REAL soon.

Anybody remember that band green jellÿ?

Reminded me that the other day I asked you all to tell me what it was you were looking for with Android’s latest.  Not so much as the phone, but in the software.

I almost forgot about it – and was amazed how many people answered.  I almost thought you guys didn’t like us :(

But here’s your results. Everybody knows that infographics help increase blog readings!

Clearly you guys want to see HONEYCOMB MULTITASKING.  See, I have a tablet, so that’s nothing new for me.

I want to see something that’s unique entirely in ICS and for me the game changer was the data usage controls (your number 2 choice).  I’m sitting here at just ½GB/month, and it’s been fine, but I’ve noticed it start to climb and with more apps accessing data, I can see how it’ll eventually be an issue.  So this is super handy!

The 3rd was the camera features.   Not sure if you’re voting for the wicked camera built into the GNexus, or the features like panorama and some editing.  [makes me wonder… will the adobe touch series apps work on 4.0?]

Your 4th choice was for swiping to dismiss notifications.  That I would like as well, as on HC it’s easy to just ‘x’ them out of the tray, but in 2.3 and lower you have to clear all or actually click on it, go where it takes you, and then it’ll be gone.

The 9 ‘others’?

  • Unified platform with more emphasis on aesthetics
  • scrollable widgets
  • NFC Pay
  • improved keyboard
  • getting away from iOS
  • everything! [4x]

Thanks for your answers gang!

Sound off in the comments about some of the ‘fringe’ votes!  Re-visiting some of the features, I do like the instant transcribing as well.
