Sense 5 Could Begin Rolling Out To One X’s As Early As June
When HTC announced their new flagship, the HTC One, they quickly let us all know that they would still continue support for some of their older devices and would even bring some of the software goodies from the One to some of their other devices.
Well according to the latest rumour Sense 5 and Android 4.2 could start rolling out worldwide as soon as this June. The tip came courtesy a leakster by the name of @LlabTooFeRI, who has been providing several different details regarding HTC phones for the last few weeks. So while this isn’t “official” news from HTC, it doesn’t seem to like it’s being pulled out of thin air either.
There’s no word on just how much of Sense 5 will be coming to the older devices but if you like the new direction of HTC’s interface, I’m sure it’ll be a positive change for some already solid phones.
In regards to the time frame, it looks like the first roll out of this new software could begin as early as June. However, that’s for the international versions of the phones that don’t have to go through all the carrier testing we endure here in North America. So if this does begin in June we can probably expect the roll out in August hopefully.
