Samsung Galaxy Nexus Specs Finally Revealed, Enough to Sway People Away From Galaxy S II LTE?

Last nights live broadcast of the release of Ice Cream Sandwich and the unveiling of the Galaxy Nexus was pretty amazing. When the specs where finalized and solid proof was produced, I was slightly confused. Don’t get me wrong, I think the Galaxy Nexus is going to be a great phone, but for a Google exclusive, I expected the specs to be slightly higher.

What the real shame is here, rumours around the internet indicate that Roger’s newly launched LTE will not be supported, but Verizon Wireless will (A US Carrier). That was a bit of a let down to me, but hopefully this phone will have enough wow factor and punch to help people look past that.

Now I turn my focus to the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE being released by rogers within weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE specs:

As you can see these phones stack up pretty close to each other. One has LTE, the other has ICS. One has 8MP Camera, other has 5MP but claims zero lag when taking pictures. One has a sharper and more clear screen, other has slightly faster CPU and slightly higher battery.

To me the biggest choice would be; Do I want the phone with Ice Cream Sandwich, or do I want the phone that will have LTE support for the Rogers Network? Surely someone will port the ICS OS to the Galaxy S II LTE in due time.

Which brings me to my question and an optional voting poll. If you had to choose Galaxy S II LTE, or Galaxy Nexus, what would you choose and what would be your selling features.

Based on specs and functionality, what phone would you buy?
