Good news for anyone who is planning to pick up the new RAZR HD LTE on Rogers and enjoys tinkering with their device. Motorola has added the RAZR HD LTE to their unlocked bootloader program. What does that mean for you?
Well if you prefer a more vanilla version of Android on your phone or if you just want to try the latest and greatest things from the developer community, an unlocked bootloader goes a long way in aiding this process.
Personally, if I were to pick up one of these I’d probably be rooting and hacking as soon as I got it as I’m not a big fan of Motorola’s skin (or any skin really). Pure Android just looks so much cleaner than everything else out there right now. That and Rogers isn’t always the quickest when it comes to rolling out updates.
