Google I/O is just about to kick off but we’re getting a little treat just before hand. According to Bulgarian tech site Nixanbal, they have confirmation that the next version of Android will be Android 5.0 Lollipop. As we all know, Google names each new version of Android after a sweet treat so Lollipop definitely fits the bill.
What I find more intriguing is that we’re finally jumping up to 5.0 after a long stint on 4.x. Normally when we see a number change like this it means there will be some big changes in the newer version of Android. I can’t wait to see what the new version of Android packs!
