We’ve got some update news to share with all you Sony fans! According to French carrier SFR, the Android 4.4 KitKat update should begin to hit devices sometime in April, well at least in France.
I’m not sure if their updates go through the same stringent “carrier testing” that our updates go through but this at least gives us a time frame as to when we might see the update hit devices.
You may notice that the Android 4.3 update for the Xperia SP and Xperia T lists as March for this carrier and as you know, that update has already made it to Canada. So it’s possible that we get the KitKat update before them too but that’s just speculation on my part.
We’ll update you guys again as we get firmer dates for the update.
