The Galaxy S II may feel like an outdated device today, but it really was one of the best in its day. And you know what, it’s about to regain some of that shine. Samsung has released some details about the Jelly Bean update that will soon be making its way to the Galaxy S II.
Now this isn’t going to bring it to the same level as the Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note II, but it will bring some of the features that many people love on these new devices to this older device. To begin with, it’ll get the usual 4.1 goodies, such as Project Butter and that awesome little voice assistant Google Now. But it’ll also get some of the Samsung goodies such as Pop-Up Play which gives you the ability to play a video in small window while going about using the phone.
Now there’s no time frame given as to when this update will roll out but I imagine that if they’ve put together some slides to detail the update, the update can’t be too far off. How many of you are still rocking the SII?
