The other day Nova Launcher just updated it’s app for some new features, and included a plugin ‘tesla‘ that allowed you to have unread counts in your notifications.

Well, Cyanogenmod didn’t waste any time and added it to their own ROM.

So, on the latest nightlies you can now have not only the unread counts (see the tiny circles in the tray), but they’ve now committed the new, new boot animation, introducing CID!

Now, bits of the much talked about Linaro builds are also going to start appearing in the CM and AOKP builds too, helping to improve performance.    Which is also cool.
