While all the spotlights are shining on the Galaxy S4 and other flagship devices, it’s still good to know companies don’t forget their mid-tier devices and their once flagship devices.
This is the case with Samsung which hasn’t forgotten about their aging former flagship the Samsung Galaxy S3. While there’s no news that development for the S3 hasn’t stopped, today we get the first taste of what’s to come for last year’s top-tier device.
The fine gentlemen over at SamMobile have made available the test release of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S3 which should be officially available in July/August. Bear in mind this is a test firmware, with all that comes with it so proceed with caution.
