An Update On Some Updates (RAZR And HTC Line)
I’ve got some maybe good news for all of you in regards to the update world. There were two different rumours running around about possible ICS upgrades.
The first has to do with the international Motoroal RAZR. According to a tip on GSMArena, some users are beginning to receive the ICS upgrade. Now this doesn’t mean that you will be receiving it today, but it’s good to see that it is rolling out somewhere in the world. It means that it should be coming along to Rogers/Fido in the nearer future.
The other upgrade rumour running around has to do with the HTC line of phones. According to some comments on their Facebook page, all the phones that have been listed to receive ICS should receive it by the end of the month. HTC hasn’t been the quickest with their updates, but again it’s nice to know that things seems to be getting closer.
It should be noted that even if and when these updates do begin to roll out, it is possible that you’ll still have to wait for your carrier to do their own customizations before they will release.
