Adobe Begins Beta Testing Flash For Android
In very exciting news, Android owners will soon gain the full support of Adobe Flash on their devices. This month, Adobe has officially begun to beta test its Flash Player for the Android OS.
Lee Brimelow, an Adobe platform evangelist, indicates that private beta testing has begun and that a public beta is the next phase. In other words, Android owners may have Flash support sooner rather than later!
When asked about a timeline for the rollout of Flash on Android, no specific dates were given, however Google, RIM (Blackberry) and Palm are planning to release versions of Flash on smartphones and tablets later this year. This is according to an interview with Fox Business Network.
