New Rumours Suggest OnePlus 3 Refresh
OnePlus released their 3rd flagship smartphone earlier this year and since then, it has been receiving positive reviews from almost everybody. Now it looks like the phone may receive a refresh soon.
According to GizmoChina, they claim that OnePlus will stop production of the current OnePlus 3 in favour of a more beefier OnePlus “3S” with a Snapdragon 821 SoC. They also claimed that the company will start sourcing LCD displays instead of AMOLED due to shortages, however OnePlus CEO was quick to confirm that they “will be staying with Optic AMOLED displays for the foreseeable future”.
More evidence of the OnePlus 3S is evident by China 3C, as they certified a new OnePlus model (A3010) which is slightly different from the original A3000 model number for the OnePlus 3.
It’s not clear as to when we’ll see this new model but stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated on the matter.
