Some great new for all you Twitter slaves out there. Twitter for Android has updated to V2.1.0
Users will be happy to know that they finally include push notifications and Multiple account support. Yes there is 3rd party apps that already do these features, but I for one have always been a fan of the original source, rather then some anonymous app saying “give me your password”
Twitter released the following change log for 2.1.0:
- Push notifications: Instantly know when people are connecting with you and talking about the things you care about.
- Multiple accounts: Set up and use multiple Twitter accounts without ever logging out. Switching between accounts is easy.
- Widgets: Personalize your home screen with Twitter widgets. We’ve updated their look and now you can see both tweets and @mentions.
- Lots of other improvements and bug fixes. You can learn about them here: Twitter for Android Known Issues.
