Skype 5.3 for Android Released with Redesigned Chat Bubbles, Emoji Support
Skype today has released a new update for its Android app to support some visual changes in chats and also to note support for emoji. Also, if you are connected to Android Auto, Skype now supports speech to text.
Here’s what’s also new:
- Catching up on an active conversation is now easier; chat will no longer auto-scroll to the latest as new messages come in.
- Now you can change and view avatars for all of your group chats; just use the “Participants” option in a group chat to get started.
- After signing out, you will now need to re-enter user name and password to sign in again. This will make it easier on those of you who use multiple accounts.
