Google to Make an Android Game Center Hub?

Rumours have been flying around the internet the last couple days, but there hasn’t been any official word whether they are true or not.

Apparently Google is planning a Game Center similar to Apple’s version that would allow users to easily compete with each other and compare high scores. The only flaw I can see at this point is the fact that the Android has a very poor Gaming environment and selection. Though being an Android fanboy, I have to be honest and admit defeat when comparing to Apple’s Gaming empire they’ve built.

I hope this would entice more game developers to adopt Android, perhaps even port more games currently found on iOS devices.

The last I heard, the rumour was also surrounded around Google+. Users on their computers would be able to interact, share, and compete with users who might be playing on their Android devices. Should these rumours to hold water and turn out to be true, this will really help Android get a better foot hold on the mobile gaming market.

You don’t need me to tell you that mobile gaming is the in thing right now, this would take off like hot cakes.
