Just in time for the new year, Google has released a list of the top apps in the Google Play Store for 2024. Some I expected and some I’ve never heard of at all.

- Grimm’s Snow White
- Expedia Hotels & Flights
- Ancestry
- Fancy
- Mint.com
- Seriesguide Show Manager
- Pixlr Express
- TED
I think I’ve used maybe half of those apps. I think the one that surprised me the most on this list is the Ancestry.com app. I would never have guessed that so many people were interested in finding their ancestors and creating family trees.
