Google Maps 5.0 For Android Released

There’s no question that Maps and Navigation on Android are far better than any other mobile platform. Google has once again updated Maps on Android to 5.0 and made this killer app even better. Here are the big changes:

3D Maps: Using vector images, you can now view maps in 3D. This can be a good useful feature to give a different perspective while viewing maps of locations.

Offline reliability and rerouting: Normally when you lose your data connection, you lose your maps and navigation route. In Google Maps 5.0, offline navigation and maps viewing are much better. This is a big improvement for anyone without a data plan or those who travel in locations with bad data. It also means you’ll also be able to reroute back to where you were navigating if you miss a turn or go the wrong direction.
