Chrome For Android Update Brings Improved Scrolling Performance
The Chrome for Android team released a new build for Android devices, bringing with it several performance improvements and changes.
At the top of the list, the browser has been updated with better scrolling up and down websites, something that was noticeably glitchy on previous versions. Also, look for increased responsiveness in the pinch-to-zoom feature, again, showing a significant improvement compared to before.
Other changes include faster interactive pages thanks to an updated V8 javascript engine, uninterrupted audio playback even when Chrome is running in the background, various HTML5 feature fixes, and more.
If you’re reading this post, you’re probably eager to try out the bleeding-edge features of Chrome. For those that missed it a while back, Chrome also has a beta channel release, offering even more newer features than described above. The beta app is not searchable on Play from your phone, so use the link below you want to check the app out. I highly recommend it.
