Best Keyboard for Android Poll Results: SwiftKey on Top

The surprises

The author did not expect Go Keyboard to score so low. Given its extensive theming, it looked like a safe bet for around third place. Perfect Keyboard, the author’s personal pick, ended last, which the author joked was a case of readers showing love for the underdog.

Confusion during voting

While voting was open, some readers wondered why SwiftKey was in first. The official final results were then published so everyone could see them. Readers who disagreed were invited to argue for their own favourite and possibly win over others.

What the results tell you

• It was an informal reader poll, not a scientific survey.
• Voters could pick more than one keyboard, so results reflect shared favourites.
• Personal taste matters most with keyboards, because typing habits differ.

Status today

The poll reflects the keyboards and tastes of that period. Keyboard apps have changed since, so check current options in the Play Store.
