Xpower Extended Battery for Galaxy Nexus Review

I picked up an extended battery for my Galaxy Nexus a while ago through Ebay, it just arrived in the mail a couple days ago and I’ve had a great time playing around with it.

It was one of those cheap china batteries, but it didn’t preform as you would expect from a cheap battery for only $9.99 + $1.99 shipping. I had this bad boy in about 3 weeks, and it keeps impressing me as I test its limits daily.

On a normal day at work, as I’ve mentioned numerous times, I listen to about 6-8 hours of bluetooth music streamed through headphones. On average I would come home with about 50-60% battery. With this extended battery I have been coming home with 80-85%. Defiantly not what I was expecting for a $10 battery from China, this thing preforms like a champ.

Aside from the outstanding length in battery power, what really pleased me was the lack of bulk it added. As you can see from the picture above, it added 50 tops in girth. Also because of its design, it elevates the speaker off the ground. No more muffled or blocked sounds from sitting on the couch.

All in all, I’m very impressed with this battery. If you want to try one for yourself, you can find the link here
