We have all experienced trying to lie down and watch videos on our tablet at the same time. It gets to be troublesome propping our tablets up on the bed as we lay on our sides. If only there were a way to mount our tablets in the air so that we didn’t have to worry about them falling over. Well, it’s taken a pretty long time for someone to address this, but it looks like we may be able to finally put this problem to bed.

A company named Octa has created a product they call they the Monkey Kit, a long, flexible tube that moulds to your desired shape and then grips your tablet with a suction device on the end. The Monkey Kit is built from quality materials and is apparently pretty simple to use.

Of course, this thing can also be used to serve as a stand while you sit on the sofa or while you’re cooking in your kitchen. Basically, if you can think of a situation where you need two hands to do something other than holding your tablet, Octa’s Monkey Kit may be for you.

If you’re thinking about how strong the suction device holds onto your device, it is apparently really strong. You simply attach the vacuum dock to a smooth spot on the back of your tablet and pump it a few times to create a strong seal.

The Monkey Kit started our on Kickstarter and raised over $100,000 from more than 1,000 backers. It is available for pre-order off Kickstarter for $99 + $40 shipping to Canada, with delivery in April.
