Deck Out Your Nexus 4 With These $9 Vinyl Skins
I have always hated putting cases on my phone and can’t wait for manufacturers to start addressing device fragility in the construction of future phones. Rumours have suggested that Google might be looking to address this with their upcoming X phone.
In any case, if you’re one of the lucky ones who have been able to get your hands on an LG Nexus 4, you may be looking to accessorize your phone without taking away from its design aesthetic. As such, take a look at these inexpensive vinyl skins from Dbrand.
In total, there are twelve different options available for a mere $9. The skins come in three different textures: titanium, carbon, and leather, with the latter offered in several different colours. The skins are made of 3M adhesive vinyl, which means there won’t be any kind of sticky residue left on the phone when the skin is removed. As such, one could go and buy three or four of these and swap them on and off whenever they want. The designs are laser-etched and offer a cutout for the Nexus label to peer through the skin.
If you’re like me and don’t want to cover the Nexus 4′s beauty with plastic case, a vinyl skin should be enough to protect the back from scratches. Of course, it’s not going to protect your phone much from falls, but it sure does make a cool way to customize the phone.
