Some more news out of the Telus camp today. Just a few days ago we reported that Telus would be offering a $50 credit to those who were willing to take a later shipping date on their pre-ordered Galaxy S IV. Apparently, the pre-orders exceeded Telus’ expectations and are trying to appease their loyal customers.
Well today it seems they’re doubling their efforts and have upped the credit to $100! Here’s the details:
“we’re offering select pre-order customers a $100 bill credit if you’re willing to wait up to two weeks to receive your GALAXY S4.
If you decide to take this offer, we’ll add a $100 credit to your account after your receive your device. We will ship your GALAXY S4 by May 10th instead of Saturday April 27th. If you choose not to take this offer, your GALAXY S4 will be shipped as previously outlined. For customers who have already accepted the $50 offer, you will automatically be provided the new $100 offer – no action required.”
I have to say I’m very impressed with the customer service coming out of Telus here. And it doesn’t seem that they’re forcing the delay upon anyone but are rather giving them the option which is great. And really, a $100 for a two week delay is a pretty good deal. It’ll be interesting to see if the other 2/3 of the big three respond similarly.
Any of you guys taking advantage of this?
