What is in the kit
- A small magnetic mount that attaches to the car
- A silver ring, about the size of a quarter, that attaches to the phone or case
- A second ring for another device
- A second adhesive pad for the mount, in case it needs reapplying
Both pieces use 3M adhesive, so removing them should not leave residue.
Setup
Stick the mount in the car where you want it and the ring on your phone or case, ideally in the centre to balance the phone. Then line the ring up with the mount and the magnet holds it. Taking the phone out is just a matter of pulling it off.
In use
The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone while driving without harming it. The mount has a 360 degree hinge. The reviewer found it slightly stiff, so the phone sometimes came off while rotating, but felt stiff is better than loose.
