The most recent information to emerge is that Mobilicity has set the official release date for the Galaxy Nexus as February 6th. The release date for Wind Mobile is still listed as “coming soon,” but some speculate that it will be released concurrently with Mobilicity.
This is undoubtedly welcome news, but it is also somewhat disappointing. As previously noted, Mobilicity recently introduced a new $40 “Super Savings Plan.” The Galaxy Nexus is scheduled for release one day after the expiration of this limited-time promotional plan. In any case, this is still welcome news for those who have been awaiting its release and observing the widespread enthusiasm surrounding the Nexus.
