ASUS is teasing a new firmware update for the Transformer Prime on their Facebook page. The update is said to bring new features, but there is no word to what exactly these features might be. last we heard, the latest firmware was Ice Cream Sandwich which the Transformer Prime is already running. Here’s what ASUS had to say:
Maybe they’re talking about Android 4.0.5 with a few specialty ASUS apps added for good measure, or maybe they are going to lead everyone on to a jellybean release months down the road? One thing is certain. Some type of firmware update is indeed coming for the Transformer Prime and it will be “awesome.” Chances are it will just be a minor bug fix release with a couple ‘enhancements’, but it really leaves the mind to wonder when they leave you floating in space like this. They really know how to get the excitement ball rolling.
