Good news fellow Canucks! The Chromecast has officially hit Canadian shores via the Google Play Store and Amazon.ca! In addition to the Chromecast, the HP Chromebook 11 has also made an appearance on Google’s online store.
In terms of pricing, the Chromecast will cost you $39+ shipping on the Play Store or $39 with FREE SHIPPING over on Amazon.ca. I’ve got a Chromecast myself and I have to say it’s a pretty nifty device and pretty good bang for buck. While the number of compatible apps is still limited right now, what’s currently available is pretty decent and the number of apps will undoubtedly grow.
