The Samsung Unpacked event of today was quite productive, releasing to the world a new tablet, smartphone, and smartwatch. Part of this trio of announcements, was the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2024), which was the only one from the bunch we didn’t expect to see.

The tablet sports a 10.1-inch 2560×1600 LCD display powered by either a 1.9GHz Exynos Octa Core, or a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, similar to what will happen with the Note 3. The Note 10.1 also matches the Note 3 with 3GB of RAM that should make multi-tasking faster than ever.

The device will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions, all of which have a microSD slot for up to 64GB of extra storage. You’ll also find the usual WiFi only, WiFi/3G and WiFi/LTE versions, found on the previous Note 10.1.

And since the similarities weren’t enough already, the Note 10.1 will also sport the faux leather back you find on the new Galaxy Note 3. Whether you like it or not is a matter of taste, but it looks like the new design is here to stay.

The new Galaxy Note 10.1 will come in Jet Black or Classic White and will be available before the end of Q4, though we have no word on pricing just yet. Let us know what you think of this new Note 10.1 in the comments below.
