Well it’s official. Asus will be bringing their very first smart watch to IFA this year! Asus recently released a teaser video for their upcoming watch which has been dubbed the ZenWatch.
Sticking with the Zen tradition, the watch looks to be quite thin; definitely thinner than current offerings in the market. In addition to being very thin, it looks as if the watch will feature a slightly curve watch face. Now there’s no way to tell if it’s an actual curved display or just a curved piece of glass but it looks pretty good in my opinion.
Beyond that, not much else was made known in the teaser but rumour has it that it will run Android Wear and undercut current offerings. Speculation is that the device could come to market around $100-$150!
After being very certain I’d be picking up a Moto 360 I’m now deciding to wait till the end of the year to see what everyone brings to the table. What do you guys think of Asus’ watch? Is the ZenWatch calling your wallet?
