This just has to be the most exciting news I’ve come across this year. Let the customizations begin!
Rovo89, renowned Android developer and hacker, finally announced his latest project through XDA-Developers. If you’re rooted, I’m sure you’ve heard about Xposed framework at least once.
It’s really the easiest and most convenient way to bring functionalities found only on custom ROMs to your phone with the stock OS, all thanks to modules that are sideloaded using the framework. One very popular module is GravityBox, which allows you to fully customize all the quick toggle settings, change launcher rows and columns and even PIE controls. This was all fine and dandy until Google shipped with the ART runtime starting in the L preview, causing it to break entirely. But now it’s back, and ready for use with Android 5.0 Lollipop and lower.
Do note that this was released just a few hours ago and is in alpha testing. For more info and how to flash, check out the source link below.
