The Possibility Of A Flexible Phone Increases Thanks To Flexible Batteries

By now, many of you have probably heard/seen the next step in screen technology: flexible screens.  Flexible screens open up the possibility to flexible phones.  However, there’s a few hurdles that still need to be overcome before this can become a reality.  Mainly, how do you make flexible inner components: CPU’s, RAM, and Batteries to name a few.

Well it seems as though one of the major hurdles has been overcome.  A team from the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, headed by Professor Keon Jae Lee has released a video showing off the steps they’ve made in this tech.  The battery is solid but bendable and doesn’t lose any power as it bent around.

Advancement in technology is always exciting.  Advancement in mobile technology is especially exciting.  We could very well have some very cool futuristic phones or tablets or wristwatches or glasses coming out way very soon!
