The long rumoured and highly discussed X Phone is coming out soon and sooner than I expected. Today at the D11 Conference, Motorola CEO, Dennis Woodside confirmed the existence of the phone which will be known as the Moto X. In fact, he had it in his pocket but said he couldn’t show anybody quite yet. However, he did share that the phone would become available summertime and would be made in the USA, making it the first domestically assembled smartphone.
He didn’t get into specs at all but he did state that processors were coming from Taiwan and OLED screens from Korea so feel free to speculate all you want about that. He also stated that the phone will be filled with all sorts of sensors that will be highly integrated into the phone and will utilize very little power. The sensors will do things such as switch the phone into a car mode once the phone notices its travelling at a faster speed.
Rumoured specs for this phone currently include a 4.7″ Full HD Display, Tegra 4i Processor, 16MP Camera, 5MP Front Facing Camera, and numerous colours but, again, those are all just rumours.
