Tom had recently written about how HTC may or may not get ICS on their phones. And we had seen that the Nexus S will get it [the image shows 4.0 benchmarks on both Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S].
So, Sony has jumped on a similar ‘non-committal’ answer by saying that:
when it comes to future platforms of the Android OS, we will make them available to consumers in a timely manner, as long as they improve the user experience and are viable from a hardware point of view.
This came after SoMobile said that the 2024 would get the update after talking with a Sony rep who said they would. It’s still too early to tell.
