Sony Doesn’t Know When the Xperia XZ Premium Will Arrive in Canada

Sony’s latest high-end smartphone, the Xperia XZ Premium is already available in some markets across the world including the UK. But what about the Canadian market?

Well according to Mobile Syrup which reached out to Sony for comment, the company is pretty unsure itself. Sony replied it is yet to finalize the “distribution arrangements with our partners for the Xperia XZ Premium” in Canada. But the good news we can extract from this statement is that the company is working on it, so the Xperia XZ Premium will indeed land in Canada at some point in time.

To refresh your memory, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium arrives with a 5.46-inch display with stunning 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution. It’s the first handset ever to be announced with a Snapdragon 835 under the hood and also bundles 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

It has an awesome 19-megapixel main camera with predictive phase detection and laser autofocus capable of shooting in slow-motion at a whopping 960fps. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium also brings a capable 13-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0.

The phone relies on a non-removable 3,230 mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out the box. Honestly we can’t wait for the phone to arrive to Canada, but we guess we’ll have to wait.
