Sony isn’t the most popular name when it comes to Android tablets but their tablets definitely stand out from the bunch. Rather than following everyone else with their 10.1″ displays the opted for a 9.4″ display. And rather than going with a simple slate body they created their “folded magazine” body to make it easier to hold with one hand.
So even though they’re not the most popular tablet out there, they’re very solid devices nonetheless and for those of you liked what Sony had to offer and happened to grab a Xperia Tablet S we have some good news for you. Sony announced on their blog that the tablet would be getting its Jelly Bean update today!
We are please to announce the release of the Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Update which will be pushed out to our production server on April 18th 2024 between 9am – 10am pacific standard time.
The Xperia Tablet will receive a notification on the bottom right hand corner that a System Update is available.
This release will be for the United States, Canada, and Latin America Region. Please check with your specific region support page for your release time.
