We knew it was coming and now it is finally hear. Sony has unveiled their brand new flagship smartphone and tablet today and they are simply named the Xperia Z2 and X2 Tablet respectively. Here’s the spec breakdwon of each.

All in all, both devices are respectable upgrades over their predecessors but may leave some wanting more as the upgrades may be seen as incremental. I do like that Sony has managed to taper off that bezel a little bit more on the Xperia Z2 as that was one of my main complaints with the Z1. As for the tablet, it has the specs to hold its own in a very crowded market. As always, marketing and pricing will be the key to success for Sony. Let’s see how they do this year.
