The Galaxy S4 mini pictured left and below is expected to have a launch somewhere around June or July, with no details on where or with whom. Reportedly the GS4 mini will sport a tiny 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD display (256 ppi) and be running Android 4.2.2 on a 1.6GHz dual-core processor. From all appearances the GS4 mini takes on the same aesthetic design as the GS4 just on a smaller scale. Details are relatively slim at the moment but we will keep you updated as we learn more.
I have always been a little skeptical of what market exists for ‘mini’ versions of other devices. Especially mini versions super phones such as the GS4 and have yet to meet someone who was willing to give up enhanced functionality over a bit of pocket or bag space. Have any of you chosen a mini version of a high end device purely on size alone?
