Back in March a rumour surfaced stating that Samsung might push the Note 6 launch up a month earlier and launch their flagship phablet in July. Well according to an even newer rumour, that first rumour is incorrect, well at least as far as the US is concerned.
According to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), Samung’s next big thing will launch on August 15 in the US of A. While it’s possible that the initial rumour of a July launch could also be true for other regions, it seems a little unlikely that Samsung would delay the launch by a month in one of their biggest markets.
Current rumoured specs for the Note 6 include a 5.8″ QHD display (maybe curved), Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8890 processor, 6GB of RAM , a 12MP camera, a 4000 mAh battery and USB Type-C. Rumours also state that the Note 6 might run Android N out of the box.
As always, take these rumours with a grain or two of salt. Nothing is official until it’s official.
