Those currently with, or looking to join, WIND, you have another fantastic Android device to choose from. The much anticipated Nexus S has finally arrived at WIND! Over the last several days, the majority of the Canadian wireless carriers have launched the Nexus S, except Bell, but I’m sure it’s coming soon (just a little while longer Bell users).
According to WIND, the new Nexus S is available starting at $425 and, at least according to the WIND website, the device is in-stock. However in-store inventory may be different, so it’s best to call your local WIND store before heading out. The highest price paid for the device is $525, but you can score $100 off by using WindTab.
Specs include OS 2.3, 4-inch AMOLED display, NFC (Near Field Communications) capability, a 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera including a front-facing camera. Overall, pretty good.
I’m still lugging around my old Nexus One, but the Nexus S seems to be my next upgrade. What do you think?
