The fine folks over at XDA-Developers have a tasty little scoop this morning. They’ve got pictures of the Nexus S (you know, the next Google phone) running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Definitely a phone that I’m very much interested in using. They were kind enough to also throw some stats in their post, though many of them are unconfirmed.
Here are some specs of the Nexus S:
- ArmV7 CPU – Could be Dual Core
- Open GL ES Supported
- 512 or 328MB Ram (Not 100% known)
- 1GB or 2GB Internal Memory (Not 100% known)
- 800×480 Screen Resolution
- 4? Screen Size
- SuperAmoled2 – Possibly
- 720P HD Video
Looks like it’s running on T-Mobile from the photos meaning their phone is the AWS version. Will we be seeing this in Canada when it’s launched? Mobilicity sounds like a good candidate if you ask me. I’ve put one of the pictures below but don’t forget to hit the source link for all of them!
