Motorola already launched two budget phones this year – the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus – but more are coming. For starters, in a few weeks we’re probably going to see the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus go official. But that’s not all – apparently Motorola has another super low-budget handset in the pipeline.
It’s called the Moto C and it already made a fugitive appearance in a Motorola video released to celebrate 44 years since the first phone call was ever made. Thanks to a picture that surfaced on China’s Weibo, we get to take a good look at the upcoming Moto C.
The phone will be offered in three colors including Black, Red and Gold. Also visible in the image is a front-facing camera with LED flash plus a main camera also with LED flash. The phone does not appear to have fingerprint scanner and will probably launch with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
According to previous rumours, the Moto C will make a debut with a 5-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution and a MediaTek MT6737m processor under the hood. Motorola will also offer 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 5MP/2MP camera combo. If word on the street is to believed, the phone will cost between $50 to $80.
