More Note 5 And S6 Edge+ Renders Surface

I’ve got some more Note 5 and S6 Edge+ news to pass your guys’ way.  GSMArena was sent a plethora of renders from case maker ITSKINS in which we get a pretty clear picture of what both devices will look like when they début (potentially on August 12!).

The photos basically reaffirm what we’ve seen previously for both devices but do provide a fairly thorough depiction of the devices.  First off, the S6 Edge+ will look more or less identical to the S6 Edge.  The pictures also provide some dimensions and the S6 Edge+ which will measure in at 154.4mm x 75.8mm x 6.9mm.

As for the Note 5, that device will measure in at 153.3mm x 76.1mm x 7.9mm.  Based on those measurements, GSMArena estimates a 5.7″ display on the Note 5 which lines up with previous rumours and reports.  The photos also clearly show that both devices are packing the traditional micro-USB port, not the fancy new USB Type-C port.  It also appears that both devices are going to sport non removable backs which means no swappable batteries and likely no microSD cards slots.  This will undoubtedly upset some users but if they pack enough internal storage into these guys, the average customer likely won’t be too deterred.

So what do you guys think of Samsung’s new phablets?
