Remember that picture of an Optimus G Pro with a 5.5″ display that leaked last week? Well it turns out that that phone, or phablet, is the real deal. LG has announced the phone on their South Korean site and the device is identical to what was earlier leaked. The specs also look to fall in line with the leaked specs as well. And just in case you forgot what those are, here they are again:
- 5.5? 1080p IPS-LCD Display
- 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB Internal Storage
- 13MP Camera
- 2MP Front Facing Camera
- 3140 mAh Battery
- Micro-SD Card Slot
This phone has not been announced for any other regions just yet. And given that there are already two different Optimus G Pro’s in circulation (the Japanese variant and now the Korean variant), there’s no telling which countries will get which. I’m sure LG will give us some more information at MWC but for now we just have to sit and wait.
