It has already been long rumoured that LG was working on a sequel to their current flagship device, the Optimus G. Initially some thought that this device could make an appearance at CES. That didn’t happen. But today we may have out first leak of the sequel to the Optimus G, the Optimus G Pro. Here’s the current specs:
- 5″ 1080p Display
- 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB Internal Storage
- 3000 mAh Battery
- 13MP Camera
- 2.4MP Front-Facing Camera
- Jelly Bean
- 160 Grams
- 139mm x 70mm x 10.1mm
The device currently looks to be headed to NTT DoCoMo in Japan but it could launch elsewhere as well. It looks like a great device with some decent upgrades over the original, but there’s no drastic changes to the phone which makes me wonder if this is an in-between rather than a sequel. If you compare this to Samsung’s line up this reminds me more of a Galaxy S II Plus kind of upgrade rather than a Galaxy S III. Maybe that’s just me though.
What do you guys think about LG’s next offering?
