The LG G Flex has garnered a lot of attention thanks to it’s unique features like a curved (and slightly flexible) display and self healing back. Despite the uniqueness and intrigue of the device, many here in Canada likely put the phone on the back burner as we didn’t really see it making its way to our shores. Well it’s time to get excited again as Rogers has just let us know that they will be the exclusive carrier of the G Flex. Here’s the spec rundown for the device:
- 6″ 720 OLED Display
- 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB Internal Storage
- 13MP Camera
- 2.1MP Front Facing Camera
- 3500 mAh Battery
Like most phablets, this device isn’t for everybody as the massive 6″ display will undoubtedly be tough to wield for some people. Spec wise things are nearly identical to the G2, although you lose a little bit in terms of screen resolution. You do gain in screen flexibility though remember so maybe we’ll call that a wash.
Rogers hasn’t passed on any firm release date quite yet but they did mention spring so we shouldn’t have too long to wait. For those of you who absolutely need to have it first, Rogers has put up a reservation page already so feel free to hit the link below if you want to go reserve it.
