The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is a very intriguing device to me. I love the massive screen and I love the design. The hardware in there is top notch and the phone is waterproof and dust proof! However, despite my love for large screen phones I feel like this one may be just a tad too large for me and after seeing these pictures, I really feel like it’s just a tad out of my size limit. If only they had cut down that bezel…
The pictures below simply show off the Xperia Z Ultra next to the new 7″ tablet, the Nexus 7 (2024). As you can see, there’s not a huge discrepancy in size between the two devices. Both devices are very thin which I like and apparently still pocketable… kind of.
I’m still waiting to see what Samsung and HTC bring to the phablet wars later this year before I make a final decision as to which phablet I carry around for the foreseeable future. Enjoy the pictures.
