I have to say I’m rather impressed by that spec sheet. I don’t think there’s anything that can quite measure up (for now) in terms of raw power. However, right away I see one major misstep: it’s running Android 4.0 ICS. Now this is the one thing that had me a little worries about this device, the software. While ICS is not a bad OS by any means, when you’re sending out a flagship device to challenge the cream of the crop, you’ve got to launch with the latest and greatest.
The Micro-SD card slot is also something that has been left out. While I’m always a fan of having that option, that fact that the phone is launching with 32GB internal helps to ease that omission.
On the plus side, there shouldn’t be a long delay for this device to become public. According to the release, the device will launch next week in Korea and will have a global launch in October. There’s no sure word on destinations but I can imagine this device hitting our shores come October.
