The Honor 8 is a great middle-range smartphone which can be purchased in Canada from retailers like Best Buy and Newegg.
Well according to a recent teaser which has been confirmed by the Chinese company itself, the Honor 8’s successor, the Honor 9 is bound to make an appearance on June 12. Previously we heard the phone will launch on June 27.
Rumours indicate that the Honor 9 will make a debut with a 5.15-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display and will be powered by a Kirin 960 chipset. The handset will have a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage – a configuration similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8’s.
We’ve heard the phone will feature main dual-camera setup which pairs a 20-megapixel sensor with a 12-megapixel one. As for self-portraits, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie shooter living on front. Last but not least, the phone will be powered by a 3,100 mAh battery and will probably ship out with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
Honor will introduce the Honor 9 on June 12 in China, while the European unveiling will happen in Berlin on June 27.
The phone will probably make an appearance on the US market at a later date. Canadians will most likely be able to purchase the device too, at some point.
